Chris has shown me that there really is light at the end of the “dark and desperate tunnel”! It’s such a relief to be under her expert guidance. I really look forward to her inspirational sessions because I’m making great progress in her safe hands.  After years of being in the doldrums through knee injuries and operations I’m now much fitter, healthier and much more confident.

Having recovered from hip operations herself, Chris’s personal insight into managing pain and avoiding further injury has been invaluable. She ensures that each new exercise is paced at just the right level. The following session she always listens very carefully to my feedback to see how my body reacted afterwards. I’m delighted that my knees are much stronger and that my range of movements and stamina has vastly improved.

Chris’s wealth of experience is reflected in her enthusiastic advice about the right combination of fitness and nutrition. The Clean Eating Programme has been so effective. It’s much easier to follow than I thought because you can eat delicious healthy meals without having to weigh everything or going hungry.

I was genuinely surprised that I don’t need to graze in between meals anymore. Also surprised how easily the inches and pounds slipped away and how the knee pain has disappeared.

Because I feared injury and another operation I reluctantly gave up tennis and dance years ago. I’ve been desperate to get back to fitness but hadn’t been able to find the right PT or fitness class instructor who I felt would understand the sensitive highs and lows. However, thankfully, I came across Chris and her first book called ‘Through the eyes of a child’ just a few weeks ago.

Although our circumstances have been completely different, her account of trying endless ways to recover from the impact of child abuse resonated with me as a fellow survivor. Despite always looking cheerful on the outside I had become fearful of triggers from close contact with professionals and people in certain situations.

Chris completely understands the complexity of this dilemma. She listens and encourages with great empathy. Each supportive session builds towards achievable goals. Chris is such a sensitive and motivational teacher and I’ve already recommended her to many different people. I’ve enjoyed a staggering turnaround, not only in my in my fitness but in my mental health growth. My family are so thrilled and proud.
